In the Catholic church of St Charles Borromeo in Cologne-Sülz is this older group of figures: it is apparently the archangel Michael, who defeated the fallen angel Lucifer.

The Michaelisbrunnen (well) on the market square in front of the town hall in Buttstädt (district of Sömmerda/ Thuringia) was created in 1597. It is crowned by a figure of the Archangel Michael.
