WonderdogToday’s brooch of the day is designed by Victorian based artist Pete Cromer, and made by Erstwilder. I bought “The Coy Cockatiel” in memory of my own little bird friend, who was a hand raised darling from a local bird specialist vet. She would demand cuddles and follow me around.

As I love baking, and have fond memories of cooking with both my Nanas, and my Mother, this is one I will be wearing often.

@pliny I lashed out and bought a brooch and a scarf today (I wear a lot of scarves, especially in winter.)
In my defence (giggle!) the brooch was a very clever design - Dick Bruna’s Miffy has three interchangeable party dresses.
And the scarf has Miffy looking at a painting which is an homage to Piet Mondrian, one of my favourite artists.
Oh, I have several Erstwilder ships, and a couple from other makers,too! Will post them soon.

Today's brooch is an old favourite, and it's a necklace. "Mimi the Foxy Minx". This is a fairly rare Erstwilder piece (between 100-300 released) from 2014, designed by Louisa Camille, who went on to found her own company, Peppy Chapette.
