Realised I could just solder my almost permanent Pico System III patch onto a voicecard. Can now experiment more freely with other ideas when my "basic" patch is saved in an easy to use form.
I kind of like this kind of patch memory: it's very material and the UI is super simple: plug it in. Sure, saving a patch by soldering jump wires onto a pcb isn't as fast as pushing buttons, but honestly I don't mind.
