Oasis: No more secrets, the documentary about the reunion arrives: “In an era of resentment and division, it gives everyone a reason to hope.” Here’s when it will be released in cinemas.

It’s official. Disney, Magna Studios, and Sony Music Vision have announced the documentary film dedicated to Oasis. The film will be released in cinemas worldwide from September 11th, before debuting on Disney+ streaming service within the year.

The documentary, still untitled, devised by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, tells the story of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s triumphant reunion tour, “Oasis Live ’25.” The film will recount the biggest musical event of 2025, with the band’s and fans’ accounts. The footage includes access to rehearsals, backstage, and the stage, as well as the first joint interviews of Noel and Liam after more than 25 years.

“I really can’t wait for the world to see this film,” – said Steven Knight. “I believe it will capture the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and do justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people. I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but, equally importantly, the story of the fans whose lives have been touched by their music and, sometimes, changed forever. It’s also the story of how music and songwriting can unite generations, cultures, countries, and, in an era of resentment and division, give everyone a reason to hope.”

“Opportunities like this are incredibly rare,” said Eric Schrier, President Direct-to-Consumer International Originals, Strategic Programming and Emerging Media. “The film is an intimate story about reconciliation, the power of music, and Oasis, one of the most successful and influential music groups of all time. It’s a privilege to bring this extraordinary film to the big screen and to Disney+ subscribers worldwide.”
