Tra la seconda e la terza stagione sono passati quattro anni. Gli attori principali, che nella prima stagione erano semi sconosciuti, sono diventati le star più richieste di Hollywood. La produzione ha dovuto affrontare ripensamenti, gli scioperi del settore, riscritture e tragedie: la morte di Eric Dane, del produttore Kevin Turen e di Angus Cloud (il cui personaggio viene comunque omaggiato dalla sceneggiatura). Il cast della terza stagione vanta due aggiunte stellari: Rosalia e Sharon Stone.
Non era facile capire quale direzione far prendere alla storia una volta finito il liceo: sono passati cinque anni e li ritroviamo alle prese con stage, lavori (più o meno legali) case da ristrutturare e matrimoni all’orizzonte. Four years have passed between the second and third seasons. The main actors, who were largely unknown in the first season, have become Hollywood’s most in-demand stars. The production had to deal with revisions, strikes in the industry, rewrites and tragedies: the death of Eric Dane, producer Kevin Turen and Angus Cloud (whose character is still honored by the script). The cast of the third season boasts two star additions: Rosalia and Sharon Stone.
It wasn’t easy to understand which direction to take the story once high school was over: five years have passed and we find them grappling with internships, jobs (more or less legal), houses to renovate and weddings on the horizon.
