No.
Eso es una excusa elegante para no hacerte cargo de tu propia mano.

Tú no estás atrapado.
Tú eliges quedarte.

Nadie te amarra al celular.
Nadie te apunta con una pistola para que sigas scrolleando como zombie.
Eres tú.
Con tu pulgar.
Con tu atención.
Con tu deseo de distraerte de ti.

Decir “me manipulan” es más cómodo que decir:

> “No quiero responsabilizarme de mi tiempo, mi foco y mi vida.”

La red no te domina.
Te refleja.
Te muestra exactamente dónde te vendes barato.

Si te quedas, es porque te da algo:
dopamina, escape, validación, ruido, anestesia.

Y está bien.
Pero no mientas.

No eres víctima del algoritmo.
Eres cómplice de tu propio abandono.

El teléfono es una herramienta.
Tú decides si es martillo o mordaza.

Así que la próxima vez que digas

> “las redes me controlan”

mírate la mano.

Porque tú la sostienes.
Y eso te hace dueño.
Aunque te arda aceptarlo.

Leo un poco cada día pero cada vez me cuesta más encontrar lecturas que me atrapen (y no hablo de capacidad de atención, que eso es otra historia bonita...) pero de adolescente me leía cualquier cosa totalmente absorta y ahora la mitad de lo que empiezo a leer ya me aburre al principio y tengo que hacer "esfuerzos" por terminarlo

Musical Interlude: OK, time for an oldie but a goodie. I always, always loved this song without understanding the lyrics a jot, but you can get a vibe from how it's sung. This came out in the early 70s when I was but a lad, and all my life I'd hear it pop up every so often. I unironically love it. The translated lyrics are sublimely simple, expressing how someone's love sustains you. (Some argue that it's about a love for God, but I think that's it's meant to be ambiguous.) An English version, "Touch the Wind," is best forgotten, IMHO.
