My current read! It's a magical realism that explores intergenerational trauma. It follows three generations of a Chinese family that faced the horrors visited upon China during the 20th century (the Japanese occupation and the cultural revolution) and eventually migrated to the US. It's dealing with some tough subject matter and graphic descriptions, so do look up content warnings of you want to read it. It's also beautifully written and the folklore sprinkled throughout really adds to the experience.

So, nach 15 Jahren hat sich mein Kindlx Paperwhite verabschiedet, die letzten Jahre habe ich eh nur noch im lokalen Buchhandel #eBooks gekauft und über die App auf den Reader geschickt. Mal sehen wie lange das überhaupt noch geht, jedenfalls muss ein neuer #eReader her.

Hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem Boox Palma 2, bzw. allgemein mit Geräten von #Boox? Die Software wäre genau was ich will, allerdings lese ich öfter, dass die Displays sehr empfindlich sein sollen, wer weiß was, oder Alternativen?
