Sometimes the 8:00 service is like the trial run for the main event. I try to have that not happen, but sometimes it just does.
Today I realized I missed a good 25% of the sermon; it just fell out of my head. 🫡 I’m going to chalk it up to still getting used to an 8 & 10 after all summer of just 9:00.

#BigDay today: Eucharist as normal, followed by a parish breakfast. The #YouthGroup kids are meeting with our Assisting Bishop, #KatharineJeffertsSchori in the afternoon. Then I’m being officially installed as Rector of #SaintLukesBuffalo. A reception follows.
This is all on the same weekend we moved to our new house.
