Great news for niche interest, Greek mythology loving, musical theatre kids as 'EPIC: The Musical ', the sung-through concept musical adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey, that started as a self-funded project by Jorge Rivera-Herrans and a small group of amazingly talented young people he brought together, blending rock opera with pop and modern electronic music, is getting an animated movie. The entire nine-part arc is such an impressive feat made with love, and the success is very much deserved.

Vengo de ver #EpicTheMusical, montado por la compañía universitaria #Cachivache. Espectacular montaje, donde no han recortado contenido y con una traducción logradísima de las canciones. Un bonito vestuario y una escenografía espectacular, donde destaco a Polifemo, el mismo barco de Odiseo y Caribdis. Actores con vozarrones, con mención especial a Escila y Penélope.

Se nota mucho el cariño y el respeto con el que han adaptado la obra de Jorge Rivera-Herrans. El teatro aficionado no está reñido con una buena calidad y desde Cachivache lo demuestran.
