#EpauletteShark at Lady Elliot on the southern tip of the #greatbarrierreef.

It was the one creature I wished to see while I was there. During a #fish feeding one of the #marinebiologist hosted to showcase some of the fish of the #reef. This little guy came up at the end and right up to the shore.

These #sharks are remarkable little things. They can walk on the reef when they get stuck as the tide goes out. Helps them get to a #tidalpool or deeper water.

It was a perfect moment. I was so excited to see this little guy. I honestly did not think I was going to as they are shy. But it was a really great cherry on top of the sundae moment.
