Nearly 10 years ago, we at the Wilson Center flagged the potential for #backdraft, the conflict that could be worsened or started anew by our (needed) responses to #climatechange. That concern persists today as the climate threats increase & the imperative to act magnifies. Proactively working to avoid #conflict & #injustice in our responses will make for a #justandpeacfultransition & #EnvironmentofPeace in #ClimateSecurity https://www.wilsoncenter.org/publication/backdraft-the-conflict-potential-climate-change-adaptation-and-mitigation
