We've won so many victories & there are so many heroic environmental lawyers, many of them personal heroes of mine. The best recognize the importance of activists to press change esp where law falls short.
It is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to keep up the legal fight & to always fight to change laws.
But it is a mistake to do what many liberals do: sit back, confident that the legal system is sufficient. It isn't.
