when you work for others you disappoint others
when you work for yourself you disappoint yourself
The only benefit of the latter is , that you get to decide the penalty for disappointment and get to reason it
also - in the former you work for the future of those who you work for not the other way round. I mean they ll sell out the day they need and you can't quit when you need .
everything else is a matter of personal taste
#Entreprenurship
After seeing a number of disastrous buyouts and failed successions, I'm increasingly wondering how we can stop great companies from dying of success.
#Entreprenurship, is there such a thing as a "company constitution": something that clearly outlines the goals and values in a binding way that's hard to change? Obviously co-ops exist, but as seen by MEC, that's not a panacaea, and other values beyond "worker ownership" matter too.
