I can take a bit of bullshit but this feature of #Enpass is the pits!

Code requested 1/2 dozen times, and their servers haven't answered in 20m. Password manager basically fucked on this device because I can't get at the secrets.

Mail to enpass[.]io has been sent. That's the last of my recommending that program to anybody.

Ich nutze seit Jahren #Enpass als #Passwortmanager auf iOS, macOS und Linux. Nun kriegen sie es nicht nur nicht hin, Deb822 zu unterstützen, das letzte Linux-Release ist 6.11.12 (07/25) , wohingegen für Mac und Windows 6.11.19 bereitsteht (02/26).

Ich war zufrieden mit der Software und würde nicht ohne Not umstellen wollen. Aber es fühlt sich an, als würden sie die Linux-Unterstützung einstellen... Hat da jemand hier mehr Einblick?

Benutzt hier jemand #Enpass und hat auch das Problem, dass Passwörter auf Seiten ohne HTTPS auch nach Bestätigen der Sicherheitswarnung nicht eingetragen werden?

This is, why I hate it when I am forced to "share" the keys to my castles via the cloud of password-managers like 1Password. Most local (WiFi) sync suck, or simply are dysfunctional (yes, 1Password, looking at you!). Managed to get a premium lifetime license a few years ago with a one off payment.
Love it !!
Store everything in it, even contact list !!
Its just a big database where I am in control of all fields for each entry
And most importantly, store the DB where I want !!!
I sync it to Nextcloud, other options available as well.....

Ich würde ja gerne in die SocialMedia-Blase hinein fragen: „kennt jemand #HeyLogin, hat Erfahrung damit und mag mal im Vergleich zu #enpass oder #1password Berichten? iOS, Mac, … div Browser, läuft gut? Probleme?“, ob das eine gute deutsche/europäische Alternative ist …

… aber für mich sind diese Netzwerk „almost dead“ was das betrifft. Die Frage sehen nur wenige und was bringt das schon. Wir haben 2026 - ich frage evtl. eine LLM 😒
