This is the old, familiar #BurkeFamily method, going back at least a decade. Run howling to court to try to stop any hearing that has power to find against The Burke. Then disrupt the court, and refuse to obey court orders. Then lie loudly and often about what happened. Repeat.

The only rights violated are those of people who Burke has bullied for 4 years to follow his extreme pseudo-religious fanaticism.
The school fully accommodated Burke's beliefs. He responded by disrupting a church service, breaching privacy of a child, then haranguing the principal. He was dismissed.
Then Burke repeatedly trespassed at the school. He is in prison solely for trespass. He can leave when he stops trespassing.
@Pamela1960 AFAIK, #EnochBurke doesn't own a house. But that's where it gets interesting.
The #BurkeFamily does own a house. A large moden bungalow on the edge of Casrlebar. Probably worth the sharp end of €1million.
If the parents can be made jointly liable, the debt can be paid. But making them liable will not be straightforward.
And the courtroom dramas are over, for now.
The periodic High Court hearings to ask #EnochBurke whether he wants to leave prison are now held by video link. His disruptive mother Martina & sister Ammi are allowed to attend only by video.
For nearly 4 years, the #BurkeFamily has made the courts a circus. No more, except for the enforcement of costs of -~€600,000 which Burke owes to the school's insurers. Burke also owes ~€200,000 in fines for trespass.
