Enhanced geothermal power is finally a reality

A decade ago, engineer Tim Latimer moved from oil & gas into geothermal power with a plan to apply the latest technologies from the former to the latter. This week, the company he co-founded, Fervo, announced that it will have a fully certified, commercially operational enhanced-geothermal power plant running later this month.
