At least these two drivers parked on half of the car lane so if you're going around them on a bike the car behind you mostly needs to change lane anyways. The amazon driver is nestled tight into just the bike lane though. They should just mark several "STOP HERE FOR LOADING" rectangles in the left middle of the right car lane, maybe "TURN FLASHERS ON / KEEP BIKE LANE CLEAR" but that wouldn't be MUTCD compliant right. #trafficEngineers #PaintIsNotProtection #InducedDemand #EngineeringTraffic

@afterconnery There really needs to be some standard of access and a right to low-stress travel by walk/bike / wheelchair / scooter / lawn chair strapped to an electric skateboard. Most cities put the construction and maintenance of a sidewalk onto the property owner / grandfathered in, but also many uncalled waivers of remonstrance. And yet the street might have yellow lines with 12ft on each side to a fog line & no shoulders... in a city of 650k ppl. 🙃 #TrafficEngineering #EngineeringTraffic
