The key point for me is this paragraph which means trades and suppliers need to provide appropriate materials (eg Wood Fibre) and standards (eg moisture safe methods)
One week in and our new heat pump is making a big difference. We’re using ~70% less energy to achieve the same water heating result
Overall it means daily demand on our system has dropped ~20%
This reduced demand means our batteries are able to keep us off grid most of the time, even on generally sub-optimal days with long spells of low cloud
Sadly governments across the globe still don’t see the potential of these practical solutions
