Alliant Energy announced Friday it was awarded a grant of up to $30 million from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations for a 200-megawatt hour #EnergyStorage system.
The proposed project would incorporate an #EnergyDome design, to be built near the current Columbia County energy center in the town of Pacific, just south of Portage.
