Revived my Ender 3 and got back to Fusion, forgot how much I loved that. Now need to get my Prusa fixed :D
Also, fallout tabletop terrain STL stuff is fantastic, whoever makes these is amazing :)
help they keep multiplying
Well fuck....
My #ender3 has been printing without issues for a while now, and I got cocky. Instead of ensuring the first few layers went down correctly before leaving it unattended, I sent it and got distracted by other tasks
Since I knew it was a 6 hour print I didn't rush to check back on it... I wasn't hearing any scraping or grinding so I assumed everything was printing well.
I was very wrong
Now I get the fun of figuring out if this hot end is even salvageable or if I need to replace a few parts.
Given all the various issues I've had with this Ender 3 KE I am getting very tempted to buy a new printer that will hopefully be more reliable.
This is probably the 4th time I've got a major clog like this.
I need a new webcam. This old Microsoft Lifecam is crappy.
OctoPrint, on the other hand, has been fantastic!
Why yes, I am monitoring my print on my Apple TV, why do you ask?
Have you considered making your next #3dprint a multi-part assembly instead of churning everything out in one piece?
I created this #3dmodel of a test tube stand for my #microscopy stuff in #freecad as 11 separate parts. I then assembled it using 5mm M2 mounting screws and some glue.
The parts were made in PETG on #creality #ender3 S1 Pro. The final result turned out pretty robust and accurate.
