Power and water shortages force Cubans to change their cherished routines

A lack of water, money and electricity combined with a U.S energy blockade are forcing Cubans to eliminate long-established and often beloved routines as they adapt to increasingly dire realities. Women are embracing new hairstyles, letting their roots grow and washing their hair sparingly. Some are washing their hair and clothes less often. Cubans also have embraced small, state-run boats to move around because of a lack of gasoline and public buses.

Refuting Slanders Against Nuestra América Convoy to Cuba
