Thought on the bike into work today, when a souped up car wizzed past me, until I caught up with them at the lights! What if we had a tax for how you travel? But, you say, we already have RUC! But, that only gets diesel users. What if we charge a RUC for every vehicle on the road? The highest users of resources pay the most (diesel trucks) down to bikes (the metals & road)? We would truly have a tax that represents how much of our Earths resources we're using?! 🤔 #ClimateChange #EndBigOil #NZPol
