Is it humane to “get rid” of stray dogs by choking them with metal chains until they die in agony? Their bodies are then dragged and thrown into a truck like garbage. Does reducing their numbers justify such cruelty? Were dogs created to be treated this way?

Olympic horses are showing signs they are being deprived of oxygen and subjected to pain as their nosebands are pulled too tight, experts say.
Olympics chiefs this week admitted some horses were suffering from “blue tongue” – when bits pulled too tight in the mouth stop oxygen flow to the tongue.
A university animal science professor and two vets told Idraetsmonitor that the animals were in pain.

It also jeopardises the very air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat and the nature we treasure

If I was a billionaire I would save all street dogs/cats etc & supply shelter/home/vets for them available in every town in the world, with funding & transportation for rehoming/adoption programmes. Also set up sanctuaries & emancipate all caged animals used for entertainment 🌍
