Tänään tuntuu kolisevan jokainen levy, jota kuuntelen. Viime aikojen parasta näissä korvissa Willowin uusin, Empathogen.

Willowiin tutustuin edellisen levyn yhteydessä. Soundin yms. jutuissa nostettiin esille Willowin ajatukset portinvartijuudesta rockin ja metallin puolella, ja miten vaikeaa naisen on tulla skeneen ulkopuolelta. Tähän sitten miesoletetut somekommentoijat vastailivat, ettei tosiaan pidä paikkaansa. Kun yksi FB-kaveri kommentoi, että kymmenen sekunnin kuuntelun perusteella tietää olevan paskaa, oli pakko ottaa itse selvää. Ihan kiusalla. <copinmechanism> iski mun makuhermooni. Hyvää, äkäistä, modernia rockia.

Kun etsin edellistä imurointikertaa varten musaa, Tidalin etusivu tarjosi uutta Willowia. Ajattelin, että koska edellinen rokkasi, kokeillaan tätä. Noh, ei ollutkaan kovaa rokkia. Sen sijaan kolisi vielä kovempaa. Genrejä sotketaan surutta. Olisiko alt-RnB:tä, mukana ainakin rokkia, jazzia, Kate Bushia... Kannattaa tsekata.
