The league should get rid of the NBA All-Star Game altogether and replace it with the Emirates NBA Cup.

Moving the mid-season tournament to February would be an ideal solution. Unlike the All-Star Game, the NBA Cup actually matters—players compete, teams take it seriously, and fans get meaningful basketball.
