New Jersey wildfire: State of emergency declared after fire spreads rapidlyA fast-moving wildfire has scorched more than 11,000 acres across Lacey and Ocean Townships in eastern New Jersey, prompting mandatory evacuations and the closure of major highways. Fire officials say the blaze, dubbed the Jones Road Fire, was only 30 percent contained as of Wednesday morning. A state of emergency has been declared for Ocean County as crews continue to battle the flames and investigate the cause.
