Relive the return of Cascade Bicycle Club's Emerald City Ride in my video! It was fun being able to ride across the West Seattle Bridge and enjoy the views from the top, and the donuts were delicious!

Emerald City Ride 2024

I rode the Emerald City Ride yesterday under gray skies. I took Link light rail from the Northgate station where I parked, and after a 20 minute train ride, I disembarked at the Intl/Chinatown station for a quick three minute ride to the starting line. Other cyclists were doing the same. I was riding my '94 Gary Fisher Tassajara. https://ridewithgps.com/trips/173929208 #cycling #bicycling #biking #Seattle #EmeraldCityRide #SoundTransit #PNW #CascadeBicycleClub #lightrail #photography

I’m delighted Cascade’s Emerald City Ride returned after 5 years! Riding across the high West Seattle Bridge was fun. I was happy to run into many familiar folks & some I hadn’t met before in person

Alarm set for 5:30am tomorrow. Anyone else? #EmeraldCityRide #seabikes

I'm doing the Emerald City Ride tomorrow. Looks like fun, an easy 20 miler, NBD. I'll be riding my red 1994 Gary Fisher Tassajara. I'm taking ST Light Rail from Northgate to International/Chinatown to avoid traffic and parking issues downtown. #cycling #bicycling #biking #Seattle #EmeraldCityRide #SoundTransit #PNW #CascadeBicycleClub #lightrail

See Seattle by bike on a car-free highway! We're taking over SR-99 and the West Seattle Bridge for an early morning spin around Alki and a jaunt south to Fauntleroy. This 20-mile ride offers a car-free experience for the first three and a half miles and takes you past some of the best lookout points and views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound's islands. Ten miles of nearly flat terrain transforms into a hill climb up from the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. Riders are rewarded with a gradual downhill grade through Delridge on the return to downtown Seattle via the low bridge. Come celebrate the return of this unique Seattle ride! This event is a fundraiser for Cascade Bicycle Club's programming in advocacy, education, and community rides. Add a donation to your registration total via our tiered scale pricing and help bridge the gap for safer streets to bike on in Seattle and across the state.
