If any of you are looking for a pro-level #MIDIInterface for a studio with a crapload of gear, I can recommend the #MioXL from #iConnectivity
The install was painless, the MacOS app is friendly but still powerful and my timing tests with it inline sounded the same as plain old MIDI DIN.
Obviously, it's not gonna be as tight as the old pre-Apple #Emagic #AMT interfaces but seeing the afterthought that #MIDI has become in this ITB world, the MioXL is *brilliant!*

The #G4 was the last #Mac with decent #MIDITiming. One of them with a #Unitor or #AMT8 = not bad. Not as good as an #AtariST but not bad.
It's been a slalom downhill since then, particularly with #LogicPro
Nowadays, #MacOs is too busy with I dunno what to even bother with #MIDITimestamping
I miss #Emagic. It's a damn shame what Apple have done to #Logic.
