L'eurodeputata francese del gruppo della Sinistra, Rima Hassan, è stata fermata in Francia, a Parigi, con l'accusa di apologia di terrorismo. Al centro del procedimento c'è un post pubblicato il 26 marzo su X, in cui la parlamentare faceva riferimento a Kozo Okamoto, membro dell'Armata Rossa giapponese coinvolto in un sanguinoso attentato in Israele nel 1972. Il post è stato successivamente cancellato dopo la sua convocazione da parte degli inquirenti. Non è la prima volta che la parlamentare è oggetto di un procedimento giudiziario di questo tipo; in passato sono già state presentate diverse denunce per commenti simili.
Nel frattempo, sempre restando in Francia, il presidente francese Emmanuel Macron ha risposto stizzito ai commenti del presidente americano Donald Trump sul suo matrimonio con Brigitte. "Né eleganti, né all'altezza", le dure parole dall'Eliseo. Ieri Trump, parlando a un pranzo, ha detto che "la moglie di Macron lo tratta malissimo. Si sta ancora riprendendo dal pugno in faccia". Trump probabilmente si riferiva al video, diventato virale lo scorso maggio, in cui si vedeva la première dame spingere con entrambe le mani lontano da sé il volto di Macron mentre erano ancora a bordo dell'aereo presidenziale.

The French MEP from the Left party, Rima Hassan, was stopped in France, in Paris, on charges of inciting terrorism. At the center of the proceedings is a post published on X on March 26th, in which the parliamentarian referred to Kozo Okamoto, a member of the Japanese Red Army involved in a bloody attack in Israel in 1972. The post was subsequently deleted after being summoned by investigators. This is not the first time the parliamentarian has been the subject of legal proceedings of this type; several complaints have already been filed for similar comments in the past.
Meanwhile, while remaining in France, French President Emmanuel Macron responded angrily to comments made by US President Donald Trump about his marriage to Brigitte. “Neither elegant, nor worthy,” the harsh words from the Élysée. Yesterday, Trump, speaking at a luncheon, said that “Macron’s wife treats him very badly. She is still recovering from being hit in the face.” Trump was likely referring to the video, which went viral last May, in which the First Lady pushed Macron’s face away with both hands while they were still on the presidential aircraft.
