New Harris County DA Sean Teare recuses himself from prosecution of former Lina Hidalgo staffers

Before taking office, Teare had worked with a law firm representing one of the accused former staffers. He also received an endorsement from Hidalgo during his primary election campaign, in which he defeated incumbent Kim Ogg.
