I feel that if the Māori party implodes, it'll be very difficult for the left block to overtake the government.

Not impossible, but a really big effort, and a bunch of luck, good luck for Labour and their partners and bad luck for the current coalition.

I want to have hope, but my analytic brain is just seeing obstacles.

I hope I'm wrong.
