Today, in my school district's board election, the 2 "conservative" candidates lost, the 3 progressive candidates won, & both of the increased tax/spending referendums passed.
Interesting wins in a fast-growing, affluent, suburban school district in Iowa.
Similar results two years ago: all 4 conservative candidates lost & all 4 progressive candidates won.
Looks like voter turnout has been high in response to book banning & anti-LGBTQ. Great job organizing & voting, everyone. #ElectionDay2023
