I'm giving up on this hexicardigan. I've fallen out of love with it while making it.
I'll frog the yarn (rip it, rip it) and turn it into something else. Triangles for a blanket, probably, as that's my muscle memory make.
I'm not sad about this decision. It's the right one for me. And I'm glad to have realised now instead of after making the second hexagon.

For the first time in for-ages, I'm knitting!
This is going to be one of a pair of hand warmers for my niece, who fell in love with this fiery orange sock yarn when we went for a look around the gorgeous new yarn store in Camborne - A Darn Good Yarn.
The wool was hand dyed by The Yarny Octopus, and is being sold to raise money for The MS Society.
It's lovely to work with, and I'm sort of wishing I'd picked up a second skein!
