Oh noes! My #ereader died 😢 It was on the charger and got really HOT. I guess the battery has finally gone and now it just doesn't power on anymore.

Kobo Glo HD was my trusted #eink device for at least 10 years. Even jailbroke the thing and installed KOReader on it.

Maybe it's time to get an Android eink device? I've been wanting to use our library's ebooks on my ereader, but it hasn't been compatible for years. Android powered device would not have that issue.

Update zu meinen Electronic Shelf Labels, die ich bei eBay gekauft habe: Die ESL selbst sind leider nicht zu gebrauchen, das Board kann nicht mit openepaperlink.

Ein erster Versuch mit einem Waveshare eInk ESP-Board verlief super, tolle Ästhetik. Habe mal testweise was drauf geschickt.
