November's cocktail pie: Eggnog Turkey Pie

Eggnog is, of course, a creamy cocktail flavoured with nutmeg and a spirit.

For my pie I made a shortcrust pastry filled with shredded turkey and pancetta in a bread(less) sauce, with a brandy and orange cranberry sauce topping.

Suitable for many winter feasts - I took it up a hill on New Year's Day (sorry November).

Not worried about the cals but hate paying an exorbitant price for a small amount of cream.

Going to make it for dessert following my steamed #DungenessCrab dinner tonight. 😋

Life is also about balance, so today I will also be enjoying some vegan eggnog and a vegan peppermint Nanaimo bar. 😋
