Jacktone Odhiambo, a long-time friend and reported housemate of Edwin Chiloba, has denied murdering him. On 31 January it was announced that Odhiambo, aged 24, will be charged over the killing. He remains in custody.

I was gutted recently when I learned of the brutal murder of the Kenyan LGBTQIA activist, designer, & model, Edwin Chiloba. May he be remembered as someone who brought beauty into this world & may his killers be remembered as those who cut that beauty short.
