Keep in mind this is in Colorado, home to a mind-numbing number of mass shootings, and Alice Terry Elementary is only a 10 minute drive from Columbine High School.

Superintendent Gianni Thompson is a disgrace to any leadership title, and has brought shame to the entire education system. Fire him now.

In the event of a lockdown, educators were instructed to notify each other via radios, and in case anyone didn’t have a radio they were told to have a “runner” who would run down the halls yelling that there was a lockdown. This is the report I’ve been waiting for about the #SheridanCO staff #strike.
One of the educators at #AliceTerryElementary school was fired because she told a parent that the security system had been broken with no fixes put in place for SIX MONTHS. She told a parent and the superintendent was so furious that it made him look bad that he fired her on the spot.
