#EfM starts tonight!!! What have I been doing today? I watched Pump Up The Volume (starring Christian Slater) and now I'm listening to Sonic Youth... But yeah, EfM later!

So even though my new teddy bear, Brother Adrian, is clearly Franciscan... And I love St. Francis. I actually feel more at home with Jesuit teaching and practices. #FindingGodInAllThings #TheGlimpsing #TheWholeThingIsATemple #Episcopal #Episcopalian #Episcopunk #EfM #EducationForMinistry #Heretic #ThisWorldNeedsMoreBears #LifeIsBetterWithATeddyBear
Hello everyone!! Please meet my new friend, sent to me by a friend in the UK, this is Brother Adrian.
I'm hoping he will be OK with going through EfM with me.

Tonight at #EfM, it was my first time doing devotions for the group. I read a selection from Sarah Bessey from the book, #RhythmOfPrayer, and I have already tagged 3 or 4 other entries in the book for future devotions. I really, really love this book. #EducationForMinistry #Episcopal #Episcopalian #Episcopunk #SarahBessey
Can someone please help me understand #EfM 's Theological Reflections? I've only been present to see them done in group twice... But so far I am really lost about the whole process and it's purpose. I need to go back and read my RRG.
Is it always done as one person kinda leading the rest of the members through a discussion? Like crowdsourcing responses for each stage of the TR?
I am so lost.

#EfM requires quite a bit of reading and I generally struggle a bit to get through it, but this week has been the most challenging so far. All of Leviticus and Numbers and a chapter in Collins. A) that's a lot but B) these are some of the most tedious bits to read through... #EducationForMinistry #Episcopal #Episcopalian #Episcopunk
So, I may or may not have bought a different Bible translation to assist me in my #EfM study. I've been using the #NRSVue because that seems to be what my church uses. But at times, it's very clunky and wordy. And my current EfM assignment is Leviticus and Numbers, which are a bit tedious and dry. So my priest recommended that I try the #CEB and that seems to be smoother and more natural sounding. #Episcopal #Episcopalian #EducationForMinistry
@trellisjumper That's great!! I was confirmed about four years ago, but we took a long break from in person attending after Covid hit. Now I am doing #EfM, or #EducationForMinistry.
