Dawn at the Edge of the World

We rose early to watch the sun rise and, though we didn't know at the time, to watch a series of balloons launch. They are not visible yet in this photo.

The Edge of the World is a vista that is accessible near Sedona, AZ and that requires a couple of hours of back-country driving on less maintained roads.

Peak in winter with moon dust
