#NaziGermany forcibly conscripted all 10 to 18-year-old kids into the #HitlerYouth on #ThisDayInHistory in 1939, hoping to indoctrinate a generation into their #racist 'utopian' vision. Many instead joined #EdelweissPirates clubs to resist, often acting as #partisans in the war.
