So I just sent out 9 toots that collectively form a transcript for a podcast or radio show that I call the #EclecticCarnival.

It seems unlikely that such a show would ever appear on commercial radio as station managers might not will be willing to take chances on music that most listeners have not heard before.
It's a form of censorship.

There are not many indie radio stations left and even those ones can be a bit risk averse as it's all about the ad money.

Goal 1 : Help raise awareness about the usefulness of Mastodon and possibly encourage people to donate to any server/instance.

Playlists (with links to songs) will be produced for a fictitious radio show called The #EclecticCarnival on the fictitious #FlatsvilleRadio station.

Goal 2 : Help raise awareness for the need for a public radio service in Canada in case the right-wingers win the next federal election and crush the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) via defunding.
