Jesus is the gate who keeps us safe.

This Good Shepherd lesson helps youth reflect on the voices they trust and the choices they make. It shows how following Jesus leads to peace, protection, and a life that grows in faith. βœοΈπŸ‘πŸšͺ

Maundy Thursday Shadow Sketches

As part of a Service of Shadows for Maundy Thursday April 2, 2026, these sketches were drawn as each β€œshadow” of Christ’s final hours were read. I had a general idea before hand but for the most part each came together more or less spontaneously during the reading. I used a large flip chart in front of the congregation. As each candle was blown out, I flipped to a new page and once the reading began, started a new sketch. We then created a kind of gallery of the finished shadow sketches in the church.

Jesus walks with us, even when we do not see Him.

This Road to Emmaus lesson helps youth notice His presence in daily life. Through patience and prayer, they learn to recognize Him and share the Good News with others. βœοΈπŸŒ…πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

The 3rd Sunday of Easter Year A tells the story of the road to Emmaus. The disciples walk with Jesus without recognizing Him until He breaks bread. This reminds us that the risen Lord is present with us in Scripture, in the Eucharist, and in daily life. βœοΈπŸŒ…πŸž

Divine Mercy coloring pages give children a gentle way to learn about God’s love and forgiveness. Quiet coloring time helps them reflect on mercy, trust, and prayer while seeing simple images of Jesus. βœοΈπŸ’™πŸ–οΈ

Faith can grow even in doubt.

This Divine Mercy lesson plan helps youth talk honestly about fear, questions, and trust. The story of Thomas shows how Jesus meets doubt with patience, peace, and mercy. βœοΈπŸŒ…πŸ’™

Divine Mercy Sunday reminds us that God’s mercy is for everyone.

The risen Jesus brings peace, forgiveness, and hope. Like Thomas, we are invited to trust Him and believe, even when we cannot see. βœοΈπŸŒ…πŸ•ŠοΈ
