A hyper-local toot here, my apologies. The city council has proposed to potentially removal a local landmark (the floral clock) from Palmeira Square.

So far as politics goes this isn't exactly high stakes but it seems kind of crappy to remove a popular local landmark - so a petition to oppose this change:

The floral clock is a famous city landmark and has appeared on many postcards over the years. It would be a crime to get rid of Hove's once-beautiful floral clock and the community have been given no say in this council decision.
