"#Israeli KM Yulia Malinovsky held up the keys and the lock of the main door of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (#UNRWA) headquarters in #EastJerusalem during a parliamentary session yesterday bragging that she had locked the building and even the government could not access it as a result.

Malinovsky, who initiated the legislation to ban the #UN agency from #Israel and from working with Israeli government bodies, showed the lock to Knesset members, after raiding the UN agency’s office in East Jerusalem earlier this week."

"#Israeli occupation forces enforced a ban on the #UnitedNations agency for #Palestinian refugees on Thursday by storming three schools in East Jerusalem, terrorizing children and staff as they shuttered the facilities and drawing condemnation from human rights defenders.

According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, heavily armed Israeli security forces raided the schools in the Shu'fat refugee camp in illegally occupied East Jerusalem, detaining one UNRWA employee and forcing around 550 children out of their classrooms as the invaders closed the facilities. "

The Israeli army, through the so-called “border police”, raided those UN facilities – schools for Palestinian refugees in occupied East Jerusalem, six of them, benefiting about 850 students – and they were told they must shut down and that the students will be taken in by Israel’s so-called Jerusalem Municipality schools.
