⛪ 🇩🇪 A dilapidated red brick bell tower rises above the tree line, atop a small hill in a German village. A neo-Gothic silhouette that is increasingly blurred by encroaching trees.
Post-reunification attendance dropped, and the church closed in the 1990s. Lack of heating and ventilation allowed black mould to thrive, covering around 90 per cent of the interior surfaces.

A collection of abandoned Soviet-era sports halls from the former USSR and East Germany. These spaces remain largely as they were left when the Soviet forces retreated in the early 1990s. Now they are relics from a different time, rotting in place as the world moves on around them.
