clonejo@hillu @sodiboo Last time i checked, GENDER was maintained by a guy in Hannover, which isn't even that close to #EastFrisia / #Ostfriesland. Not sure what his relationship to the region is, maybe he just stumbled over a book of East Frisian names? Still weird to be the only non-country on the list.
While mapping given names to countries and genders seems academically interesting, not sure why you need a (fallible) library for that.
Alas, GENDER comes with my name, which is pretty uncommon :)
As you know, I love to explore with my camera and #bicycle, discovering new areas and things and capturing them 'on film'. #Cycling is particularly enjoyable here in #EastFrisia. There are many well-maintained cycle paths, and motorists often look twice and are often quite considerate. In a region like this, #sculptures for #bicycles and cyclists make perfect sense š
