I've been doing a re-watch of the series #Extrapolations on #AppleTV Love the story-telling and the cast. But it is a little hard to watch it AND deal with the smoke outside. The orange light and the smell of camp-fire. AQI at the nearby sensor is at 171.

Extrapolations is a series of stories over the course of a decade or two in the near future where global warming and all its effects have become even more situated in everyday life. The politics. The tragedy. The hope. Great science fiction which on a day like today feels a little less fiction-y than my preference. But increasingly, that's kinda the nature these days. It will be interesting in a handful to decades to see what science fiction writers choose to write about and to where the line between fiction and non-fiction will move.

Der Klimawandel und die Auswirkungen, aber auch eine (entfernt) mögliche technologische Entwicklung und damit verbundenen Probleme fühlt sich sehr Real an, fast schon wie eine Dokumentation.

Eine Dokumentation einer Zukunft in der einem sehr unwohl wäre.

Was bleibt sind Milliarden Schwere Konzerne, die auf fast alles einen fick geben.

Bin mir unsicher ob Drama oder SciFi.
