　南米大陸連戦を終えて海を渡り、中国に上陸した2024年FIA TCRワールドツアーの第6戦が、10月18～20日に香港とマカオに繋がる常設ストップ・アンド・ゴーの珠海国際サーキットで争われ、地元TCRチャイナを含め30台以上がグリッドに並ぶ活況を呈するなか、僚友2台を従えポールポジションを射止めたサンティアゴ・ウルティア（リンク＆コー・シアン・レーシング／リンク＆コー03 TCR）に対し、レース1ではライバルが逆襲する展開に。　まずはミケル・アズコナ（BRCヒョンデNスクアドラ・コルセ／ヒョンデ・エラントラN TCR）が雨とセーフティカーの影響を受けた週末の最初のヒートを逆転で制し、遅ればせながらの今季初優勝を飾ってみせると、続くレース2では、ファイナルラップでネストール・ジロラミ（BRCヒョンデNスクアドラ・コルセ／ヒョンデ・エラントラN TCR）からリードを奪ったマ・キンファ（リンク＆コー・シアン・レーシング／リンク＆コー03 TCR）が、スタンドの観客を沸かせる大逆転劇で地元ラウンドを制覇している。
