- ..except when they aren't. My first sessions resulted in a lengthy list of "how do I do X" questions I had to figure out later. Some I still haven't.
- You WILL hit that polyphony limit. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be, but feels like 8 sounds. Any polyphonic or overlapping melodies better be a sample, or you're SOL. As a seasoned 4-channel tracker user I can deal with it, but I suppose this will be a dealbreaker for many.
- No resampling, which would help a lot with the aforementioned issue.
- Scene arrangement features are extremely basic. While it's great for jamming, probably not so much for writing complete tracks.
- The onboard speaker is a joke, and not a very funny one at that.
~ The preset samples are not great. Not really a huge issue IMHO, as this is intended to be a sampler and you should be bringing your own sounds.
I haven't messed around with MIDI yet as I have other stuff for that, but I do intend to give that part a go as well.
