The radio was originally manufactured in Downsview, Ontario by Westinghouse Canada in the late 1950s

Tindie's website has been 'down for maintenance' at least four days straight that I know of; possibly longer. But I can find nothing indicating *why*. A search for recent news about Tindie returns zero articles.
Something is certainly up with #Tindie, but no one is talking about it that I can find.

iantoI'm actually going to solder up a 555 for the first time in nearly forever because the waveform generator ordered a month ago with 7 day delivery time won't be here for another month. I've had the numbers 0.693 and 1.44 in my head rent-free since secondary school in the 1980s, now to put them in the right places... thanks Mr L. I remember being excited about using half a 556 to trigger the other half. Such a nerd.
